The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now looking for more employees. The Kristianstad area is part of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's Southern region and currently includes the Kristianstad prison, located about 10 km south of Kristianstad. Currently, the prison has about 145 inmates and 120 employees. We are undergoing a significant capacity increase, and there is a lot happening in the area in terms of renovations and new constructions. In a few years, the new prison Vä is expected to accommodate about 600 inmates and have 500 employees. The largest professional group is prison officers, but we also have healthcare professionals, administrative staff, educators, production leaders, and more.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a team leader, you will have direct contact with our inmates in the prison's production. In your daily contact with the inmates, your work will contribute to learning, but also to helping inmates reflect on their situation. After training, you will be responsible for the daily operations. You will plan, delegate tasks, and ensure that our deliveries are made on time. You will actively participate in the production work. Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for production planning.

We are looking for team leaders for our assembly and packaging operations as well as for our laundry, where inmates have the opportunity to perform lighter assembly work and engage in laundry tasks. The team leader will plan and lead the operations under the supervision of the responsible prison inspector and together with colleagues. The work also includes some administrative tasks, which are largely IT-based. As a team leader, you will be responsible for guiding and instructing. Daily routine tasks such as inspections and other security-related tasks are also part of your duties.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is secure, stable, and has self-awareness. You find it easy to collaborate with others and have well-founded and clear values. In stressful situations, you remain calm, stable, and controlled. You have the ability to make correct assessments and priorities. You have a good understanding of how people absorb knowledge and adapt your way of conveying messages based on the recipient's conditions. You should also have a physical condition that allows you to act physically if the situation requires it.

We are looking for someone who has:

• A complete upper secondary school education in the form of a diploma or high school graduation, or other education combined with work experience that is deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Work experience from the manufacturing industry. Internships and volunteer work are not equivalent to employment.
• The ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Good computer skills.
• A B driver's license.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience in customer service.
• Relevant language skills.
• Knowledge of ISO9001.
• Training in LEAN.
• Knowledge and experience in invoicing.
• Forklift license.
